The food was decent overall, and I had a good experience. I just wish they had more late-night options available, especially when you’re not quite ready to call it a night..

"Career support was alright, but nothing special"
The career support at norwich was... I mean, it was okay. They helped me a bit with my resume and sent over a few job links, which was useful, but I did feel like I had to keep following up to actually get answers. Some of the staff were really nice, just not always that helpful for the field I was trying to get into. It’s not bad by any means, but I think it could be a lot more hands-on. Overall, average.

"I’ve had a good experience with Norwich..."
I’ve had a good experience with Norwich University Online so far. I was a little unsure at first, but the workload feels steady and not too overwhelming, as long as you don’t put everything off until the last minute. Some weeks are definitely heavier than others, which can be a bit stressful, but the assignments usually make sense and actually connect to the class. Overall, I’d say it feels fair, and I feel like I’m learning without being totally buried...

"Communication could actually be a bit faster"
My experience with Norwich University Online was okay overall. The information I needed was there, but actually getting responses took longer than I expected at times. Some emails were answered quickly, while others needed a follow-up before I heard back. It wasn’t terrible, just a little inconsistent. I think it would be better if the communication was clearer and a bit quicker

"A bit less flexible than I hoped"
I can see how the schedule setup might work well for some people, but for me it felt a little too rigid. I was expecting a bit more flexibility to adjust things around my day. Not a bad experience overall, just not quite as adaptable as I personally needed

"Admissions was okay, but I wasn’t totally confident in the process"
I applied to Norwich this year, and the admissions process was mostly alright, but it definitely had a few confusing moments. The online application was straightforward, and when I emailed with questions, someone did get back to me, though sometimes it took a few days and I had to send a follow-up just to keep things moving.
The staff I dealt with were friendly, but I wasn’t always sure the process was being handled as carefully as it should’ve been, especially when it came to knowing which documents were still missing. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it left me questioning the overall organization a bit, and I think new applicants would benefit from clearer updates
"Simple online classes, easy to stay focused"
norwich.edu has been easy to use so far. I mostly pay attention to the stuff I actually need, like my class pages, assignments, and due dates, and I can usually find those without digging around too much. The classes load fine for me, and the whole platform feels straightforward. I did have one login issue, but tech support got back to me quickly and helped me sort it out.

"Faculty support was kind of hit or miss"
The faculty help was just okay overall. Some professors were actually helpful and made an effort, but others were barely around when you needed them. It got frustrating at times because you never really knew who would be responsive and who would just disappear.

"Really liked how welcoming the campus felt"
I really liked the vibe on campus. It felt close-knit in a way that didn’t feel forced, if that makes sense. People would actually say hi when you walked by, which sounds like a small thing, but it made the place feel a lot friendlier and less intimidating. The traditions also added a lot to the experience because they made the campus feel like it had its own personality, not just a bunch of buildings and classes. Overall, it just had that warm, community feeling that made me think, “Yeah, I could see myself being comfortable here.”

"Good classmates, but I still think an apology is due"
The peer community at Norwich has been one of the better parts of the experience. My classmates have been really helpful, and it’s easy to ask questions without feeling judged, which makes the online classes feel a lot less isolating. That said, there have been a few things along the way that I don’t think were handled well, and I do feel like an apology would go a long way.

"Pretty happy with Norwich overall"
I’ve been happy with Norwich overall. I started there sometime around late summer, I think—can’t remember the exact date, but my experience has been good. It’s a solid school, and I don’t have any major complaints.

"My snap judgment of Norwich academics? Pretty..."
My snap judgment of Norwich academics? Strong. The classes feel challenging in a real way, but not like they’re trying to crush you. Most of my professors seemed to actually care whether we understood the material, which stood out to me. There’s definitely a lot of reading and writing, so you can’t really slack off for long, but I didn’t mind because it pushed me to stay on top of things. Overall, I’d say the academic quality feels legit and worth it.

"My experience with academic advising at Norwich..."
My experience with academic advising at Norwich was kind of frustrating. My advisor was perfectly nice when I did hear back, but replies usually took a few days, and by then I’d already refreshed the course catalog about 20 times and started second-guessing every requirement. I also got different answers about which classes actually counted, which is the kind of thing that really matters when you’re staring at CRN numbers and trying not to mess up your schedule.
Registration ended up being way more stressful than it needed to be. I mostly figured it out myself with degree audits, old emails, and a ridiculous number of browser tabs open. For what tuition costs, I expected the advising to be more clear and consistent, not something where I had to keep chasing down tiny details just to feel sure I was on track.

"Feels safe overall, though maybe I’m overthinking it"
Norwich’s campus feels safe most of the time, at least from my experience. Security is around enough that I notice them, and I’ve never really felt like I was in actual danger. That said, there are a few spots that get super quiet at night, and I always wonder if I’m being dramatic or if they really could use better lighting. The alerts are kind of inconsistent too, or maybe I just don’t always catch them at the right time. Overall, I’d say it’s fine and mostly reassuring, just not perfect.

"Classes actually fit my schedule"
I had a good experience with norwich.edu. I was kind of expecting class times to be a hassle, but there were more options than I thought. I could find times that worked around my job, which was a big relief. Just made everything feel less stressful, you know?

"I’m not totally convinced employers would take it seriously"
I’m still not sure how credible the degree would look to employers. It might be fine in some situations, but I kept wondering whether hiring managers would actually recognize it or value it the same way they would a degree from a more established school. That uncertainty made it hard for me to feel fully confident about it.

"Pretty good support for vets"
I’m a veteran, and so far Norwich has been solid for me. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect at first, but the military support office has actually been helpful and answered my questions without making me feel weird for asking basic stuff.
The GI Bill paperwork and transfer credits went more smoothly than I thought they would. There were a few times I had to wait a bit for a response, but it wasn’t anything too frustrating.
The classes still take real effort, so it’s definitely not like you get an easy pass or anything. But overall, I felt like they understood where service members are coming from, and I’d probably recommend it to other vets.

"Admin stuff was honestly easy"
I was kind of expecting the admin side at Norwich University Online to be a hassle, just because these things usually are, but it actually went smoothly. The emails I sent got answered quicker than I thought they would, and the people I spoke to were nice about it, even when I was asking about that one thing I wasn’t totally sure on.
Registration and the paperwork side of it were simple enough too. There was one small mix-up with something, but it got sorted out fast and didn’t turn into a whole back-and-forth situation. Overall, I had a good experience with the admin stuff.
